Overview
Auto-organizes Claude.ai chats into projects using keyword matching and AI categorization
I built this because my own Claude sidebar was a disaster. 200+ chats, no order, spending more time searching than actually working. So I made something that fixes it in one click. Claude Organizer scans all your unorganized Claude.ai chats, figures out what they are about, and moves them into the right projects automatically. Coding chats go to Coding. Finance questions go to Finance. You get the idea. The whole thing takes about 10 seconds. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHY I THINK YOU'LL LIKE IT ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ It actually works. Smart keyword matching across 10 languages plus AI for the tricky ones. Most chats land in the right place without you doing anything. ✦ You see the plan before anything moves. No surprises. Review it, then click Apply. ✦ No API key. No account. No setup. Just install and click Organize. ✦ Completely free. No subscription, no paywall, nothing to pay. Ever. ✦ Your chats stay private. The extension only reads chat titles to figure out where they belong. Nothing is stored outside your browser. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW IT WORKS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1. Open claude.ai and log in 2. Click the Claude Organizer icon in your toolbar 3. Click Organize and wait a few seconds 4. See exactly which chat goes where before anything moves 5. Click Apply and you're done That's it. No configuration, no learning curve. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ A FEW TIPS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ → Run it once a week and your sidebar stays clean without any effort. → Already have projects set up? It uses them instead of creating duplicates. → Chats that don't fit anywhere are left alone so you can decide what to do with them. → Use Manual Mode if you want to place specific chats yourself. → Empty projects get cleaned up automatically after each run. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ GOOD FIT FOR ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ - Anyone with 50+ chats who is tired of scrolling - Developers using Claude daily for coding help - Students with chats spread across different subjects - Freelancers juggling different clients and topics - Anyone who just wants a cleaner Claude experience ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Storage. Saves your organize plan locally before you confirm it. Stays in your browser. Tabs. Checks if claude.ai is already open so it does not open a duplicate tab. claude.ai access. Needed to read your chat titles and move them into projects. No tracking. No analytics. No data sold. Nothing weird going on in the background. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT'S NEW ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ v1.6 + Softer colors in the popup, easier on the eyes + Small one-time prompt after organizing if you want to leave a review v1.5 + Tightened up the AI backend so it cannot be abused, keeps it free for everyone + Smaller install size + Reduced permissions to only what is actually needed v1.4 + Fixed a bug where switching Claude accounts caused a "not connected" error + Removed a wrong message that said Claude Pro was required.
