Classroom Zen A calm, temple-inspired classroom toolkit with separate floating tools that sit above normal web pages. Tools 1) Incense Timer — frameless floating incense animation with a countdown, ember, smoke, and synthesized bell. 2) Random Picker — pick a number from a range or a name from a list, with optional no-repeat history. 3) Pagoda Race Timer — timer plus random number/name picker. Every selected number or name becomes a distinct person holding incense and racing from the tam quan gate toward chánh điện to thắp nhang. Racers are packed into about five visual rows with slight offsets instead of becoming a long vertical list. 4) Mõ (Wooden Fish) — frameless floating wooden fish animation. Click or press Space to strike it and play a short synthesized knock. Updates: Hidden/inactive tabs now “sleep”: they remove the floating tool DOM and stop animations, then restore when the tab becomes visible again. Race runner movement now uses transform-based positioning instead of left, which is much cheaper for the browser. Large races automatically use a lighter rendering mode: fewer decorative animations, no dust puffs, lighter shadows, reduced petal effects, and throttled race frame updates. Incense timer smoke stops running in hidden tabs.
