Overview
Import timestamped DOCX lesson guides and run teacher-controlled questions alongside YouTube videos.
Turn educational YouTube videos into teacher-guided classroom lessons. Classroom Video Guide Companion lets teachers upload a compatible DOCX Teacher Guide containing chronological timestamped questions. The extension connects the guide to the current YouTube video and makes each question available at the appropriate point during playback. Teachers can: • Import timestamped questions from a DOCX Teacher Guide • Select any timed or end-of-film question from a guide timeline • Jump directly to a question timestamp • Automatically pause the video and display a classroom-readable fullscreen question • Continue playback after discussion • Display end-of-film challenge questions • Create, edit, and export custom question sets • Download a template for authoring compatible guides All DOCX processing and guide storage occur locally in Chrome. No account or external server is required. Classroom Video Guide Companion is an independent teaching tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by YouTube, Google, Crash Course, Complexly, or any related rights holder. Videos are not included.
