ClassLink Data Revealer

Reveals values masked by ClassLink DataGuard back to their originals on vendor pages and PDFs.

ClassLink Data Revealer is a companion extension for districts that use ClassLink DataGuard. It lets authorized staff — teachers and administrators — reveal the values DataGuard has masked, turning the cldg-… tokens on third-party vendor pages and PDF reports back into the real names, IDs, and other data, right where they appear. DataGuard protects student and staff information by replacing it with these tokens in the data ClassLink shares with vendors, so the real values never leave ClassLink. When someone needs the original, they open the page, click "Scan & Reveal Page," and the values appear in place (PDFs can be downloaded revealed). It uses your existing ClassLink sign-in, works only for authorized staff, and audits every reveal. PLEASE NOTE… Your school or district must use ClassLink with DataGuard enabled for this extension to work. Please contact your technology department.
