Class Activity Monitor

Lets your teacher see which site is open in Chrome during a live class. Only active while your teacher has monitoring turned on.

Class Activity Monitor is used by the Institute of Canadian Education (ICE Education and ICE Islamia School) to support focused learning during live classes. When a teacher turns monitoring on for a class, this extension shares the title and web address of the student's currently active Chrome tab with that teacher. Nothing is shared when monitoring is off, outside of scheduled class time, or after the session ends (sessions end automatically after a set time limit). What is shared: the active tab's title and URL, and the student's school email address. What is NOT shared: browsing history, page contents, keystrokes, passwords, screenshots, camera, or microphone. This extension is only for students signed in with a school Google account and is installed by the school's administrator.
