Overview

Block distracting websites, schedule focus time, and build better digital habits completely offline.

Clarity helps you stay focused by blocking distracting websites exactly when you choose. Everything works locally in your browser: there is no account, no advertising, no analytics, and no cloud service. Create flexible blocking rules using domains, full URLs, keywords, or wildcards. Block the current website directly from the toolbar popup, or organize all your rules from the complete settings dashboard. KEY FEATURES • Flexible website blocking — Add domains, URLs, keywords, and wildcard patterns. • Focus mode — Start a Pomodoro-style session with a clear, visible countdown. • Recurring schedules — Choose days and hours, including overnight time slots. • Custom block page — Add a motivational message and a local image, or redirect blocked visits to a productive website. • Password protection — Prevent casual changes to rules, schedules, and focus sessions. • Progress tracking — See blocked attempts, estimated time saved, streaks, focus sessions, and achievements. • Light and dark themes — Use light, dark, or your system appearance. • English and French — Change language at any time in settings. • Incognito support — Available after you explicitly enable “Allow in Incognito” in Chrome. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Clarity works completely offline. Settings, block rules, statistics, password verifier, and imported images remain in local Chrome extension storage on your device. Clarity does not sell, share, or transmit this information and does not contain telemetry or remote code. Chrome does not allow ordinary extensions to prevent their own removal. On managed devices, administrators may use Chrome Enterprise policy if uninstall prevention is required.
