Overview

The AI governance layer for hedge funds, private equity, and asset managers. Captures AI tool settings as Secure Setup evidence.

Clarier is the AI governance platform for hedge funds, private equity firms and asset managers. The Clarier extension checks the settings of the AI tools your firm uses against your Secure Setup checklist in Clarier, and records each result as evidence. Features • Works from any page of an AI tool, including Claude, ChatGPT and other tools your firm adds to Clarier. • Reads the organization's admin settings on Team and Enterprise plans, and the account's own settings on personal plans. • Sets up a tool that has no Secure Setup yet. Choose its plan and Clarier builds the checklist. • Finds the settings pages your checklist needs, including pages a tool's menus do not show. • Marks each checklist item as verified, or reopens it and shows the expected value. • Keeps screenshots as evidence, with the relevant setting outlined, if you choose to keep them. • Shares the settings pages it finds with your firm's other Clarier admins. Privacy and security • Read-only. The extension does not change, save or delete any setting. • Reads pages only during a capture you start, and only on the tool's own websites. • Blurs recognised secrets, such as passcodes, keys and tokens, before each screenshot. • You decide whether screenshots are kept or deleted after analysis. New in 1.2.1 • Capture from any page of an AI tool. • Set up a tool from the extension. • Support for personal plans. • Evidence screenshots outline the relevant setting. • Redesigned popup, and a toolbar icon that matches light or dark mode. • Vendor reports have moved to the Clarier web app. Requirements A Clarier account with Secure Setup enabled and the admin role in your company. Secure Setup capture is in beta.
