Overview
Circle suspicious content on a webpage to get a quick evidence-based fact check.
I was tired of seeing misinformation spread so easily across social media, from X and Instagram to Reddit and Facebook. So I built ClaimCircle: a Chrome extension that lets you fact-check almost anything by simply circling it. Just move your mouse pointer around a post, paragraph, image, or piece of content, and ClaimCircle captures the relevant context and checks it for you. No switching tabs, no copying text, no opening ChatGPT, no typing out prompts. It provides a verdict with supporting sources when relevant evidence is found. Just circle it. Check it. Move on. For Youtube keep captions on to fact check spoken audio. The extension fact checks the past 25 seconds on each trigger made with the circular gesture For feedback, support, or issue reports, contact: rishidv2005@gmail.com
