FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Does TabStash sync across devices? No. TabStash is intentionally zero-backend — everything stays in local browser storage on the device you stashed it on. Use the Export/Import JSON feature in the dashboard if you want to manually move your sessions to another machine or keep a backup. Will TabStash slow down my browser? No. It has no background processes beyond a lightweight service worker that only activates when you interact with the extension. What happens to a session after I restore it? Restored tabs are removed from storage as they're reopened, so you won't end up with duplicates the next time you restore. Is my data safe if I uninstall the extension? Data stored via chrome.storage.local is tied to the extension. Export your sessions to JSON first if you plan to uninstall and want to keep them.
