CJP - Youtube Bot Detector
2 ratings
)Overview
Flags YouTube comments from very new accounts as possible bots, with account-age badges. A Cockroach Janta Party initiative.
Ever open the comments and think "no way these are real people"? CJP Bot Detector checks the receipts for you. WHAT IT DOES - Scans the comments on any YouTube video as you scroll - Flags comments from suspiciously new accounts with a red "sus" badge - Shows every commenter's account age right on their comment (like: 🪳 +3 years old) - Pins a live verdict above the comments: 🚨 "it's giving bot farm" when bot density is high, or ✅ "comments passed the vibe check" when things look organic - Keeps the receipts: a local database of every account it identifies — creation date, channel name, and the videos where it commented — exportable as JSON HOW IT WORKS Add your own free YouTube Data API key (2-minute setup, link in the popup) and the extension looks up each commenter's real account creation date. Results are cached on your device, so each account only ever costs one API call. No key? It still catches the obvious auto-generated burner usernames. PRIVACY, FR Everything stays on your device. No servers, no tracking, no data collection. The only network requests go to Google's official YouTube API using your own key. We don't snitch. The freshness cutoff is yours to tune: accounts newer than 30 days = sus by default, adjustable from 1 to 365 days. Made with ❤️ by cockroaches of India. A Cockroach Janta Party initiative.
