Fact Check ML
Overview
Checks whether the current page reads more like real or fake news, using a locally-trained ML classifier.
Fact Check ML checks whether the article on your current tab reads more like real or fake news. Click the toolbar icon on any article page and hit "Check this page", it will send the page's title and visible text to a small API for classification and show a REAL/FAKE verdict, a confidence score and the words that most influenced the decision. Important: this is a style-based classifier, not a fact-checker. It can't verify whether a claim is literally true, and accuracy varies by topic and writing style. Please treat its output as one signal not a final verdict. Open source: https://github.com/tazrianiqbal-star/fact-check-ml
