CiteHide – Hide In-Text Citations
ExtensionTools1 user

Overview
Read scientific articles more fluidly. One click to hide or blur in-text citations.
In-text citations like (Smith et al., 2020; Jones & Lee, 2019) or [12] break up almost every sentence of a paper. CiteHide hides them with one click, so you can follow the argument first and check the sources later. THREE WAYS TO READ • Hide – citations disappear completely for distraction-free reading. • Peek – each citation becomes a small dot. Hover over it to see the full reference, click it to put it back in the text. • Fade – citations stay in place but become faint, and come back when you hover over them. One click on "Show citations" brings everything back exactly as it was. Nothing on the page is deleted or changed.
