Each paper gets a score from 0 to 100, shown as a small badge right next to it, along with a plain-English label: Verified, Some concerns, Unverifiable, or Likely fabricated. Citation Verifier catches both patterns — checking whether a paper genuinely exists in CrossRef and DataCite, whether it's been retracted, and whether the DOI you're given actually matches the paper it claims to be.
