CISTEPS Beta: smart iFlow spacing, governance inspection, and Header/Property dependency tracing for SAP Cloud Integration.

CISTEPS – Cloud Integration Smart Steps CISTEPS is a community browser extension designed to improve the daily experience of SAP Cloud Integration developers directly inside the iFlow editor. It provides two main capabilities: - Smart Edit – expand or compact space around iFlow activities while preserving process structure, branches, sequence flows, local processes, end events, and related receivers. - Smart Inspect – analyze iFlows for governance issues and trace Header and Property dependencies across routers, content modifiers, communication adapters, Groovy, JavaScript, and XSLT resources. Additional capabilities include movement preview, undo support, naming recommendations, dependency highlighting, and direct navigation to detected usages such as Router branches. CISTEPS is especially useful when maintaining large or unfamiliar iFlows, helping developers understand structure, improve consistency, and reduce manual effort. Beta notice: CISTEPS is an independent community project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by SAP. It relies on SAP Cloud Integration editor internals, which may change over time.
