CinePersona — Movie Scrobbling & Watch Tracking

Identify films while you watch, track your viewing, and build your personal movie DNA.

CinePersona is a personal movie journal that records films as you watch across supported streaming and cloud-drive sites. • Identify films and track playback progress; automatically save watched entries. • Rate a film or add a short note from the extension. • Keep your watch history and film profile in your CinePersona library. • Optionally sync your own Douban marks and export a local CSV backup. Douban sync to your library requires sign-in and explicit confirmation. • Platform stats are enabled by default. Each automatic scrobble saves the standardized platform name with its watch entry for your personal overview. Turn this off in Settings to remove saved platform names. Privacy The extension reads supported playback-page titles and progress to identify and track movies. When logged in, automatic scrobbles and the selected platform name are sent to your CinePersona account to provide your watch history and platform overview. The optional Douban connector uses your browser session only when you initiate a sync to request your own marks. Douban cookie values and passwords are not sent to CinePersona or unrelated third parties. Douban cloud writes require your explicit confirmation.
