Cinema Mode for Udemy
Overview
Expands the Udemy lecture video to fill the whole window, removing the wasted empty space around the player. Toggle any time.
Tired of Udemy showing a small video with big empty margins and a black/white gap around it? Cinema Mode for Udemy expands the lecture player to fill your entire browser window, so slides and screen-recordings are as large as possible. This is NOT the native fullscreen (which hides everything like a YouTube fullscreen). It maximizes the player inside your tab — you keep the Udemy header and can flip back to the normal layout any time to read Q&A or Notes. FEATURES • Automatically fills the player on every lecture page • Toggle on/off with the toolbar icon or Alt+Shift+F • Remembers your preference • No account, no network access, no data collected • Lightweight — pure CSS, nothing to slow your browser down HOW TO USE Open any Udemy course lecture. The player fills the window automatically. Click the toolbar icon or press Alt+Shift+F to toggle back to the default view. Remap the shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. PRIVACY Collects nothing. Makes no network requests. Only stores a single on/off preference locally in your browser.
