Overview

Shows the Cignara widget on sites that use Cignara, and lets Cignara teams preview their project's widget.

Cignara puts your company's Cignara assistant on your websites, and lets your team check how it looks and works. What it does - Shows the Cignara widget (chat, plus voice or video calls if your project has them) on websites that a Cignara project lists. - On those listed websites, the widget also appears for people who are not signed in. - Cignara team members can sign in, choose an organization, project and environment, and preview that project's widget on its websites. How it works 1. Open the side panel and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Until you agree, the extension does nothing. 2. Allow Cignara on websites when Chrome asks. This lets the extension add the widget to the websites your project lists. You can remove this access at any time in Chrome settings. 3. Sign in with your Cignara account, or skip sign-in and use guest mode. 4. Use the On / Off switch at the top of the panel to turn the widget off or on on every website. The widget is the same one Cignara customers add to their own websites. It loads from widget.cignara.com, just like the standard embed code. Optional setting for some websites A few websites have security settings that block the widget. For those, the panel offers "Allow the widget on this website". It is off by default, applies to one website at a time, changes that website's settings only in your browser, and you can turn it off again in the panel. Your data - When you open a website, the extension sends only its domain name (for example shop.example.com) to Cignara to check whether a Cignara project uses it. It never sends the page address, page content or anything you type. - The extension does not track your browsing history and does not sell your data. - Sign-in uses your existing Cignara account. - Chats and calls in the widget are handled by Cignara as described in our Privacy Policy.
