Has a long-standing bug - this is why 3 stars vs 5. The end of some downloads are not detected. Rather than timeout and close the file after a reasonable period, Chrono Download Manager just leaves the file "stuck". This means I have to go into my downloads and rename the stuck file, with its proper extension and then I can treat it as fully downloaded. Chrono Download Manager should just have a rule... if downloaded bytes do not increase within 20 seconds, pop up a dialog saying this fil... Show more

I have been using this extension for years and I like it very much, but lately it started popping up notifications about how I have to update Chrome. No, I do not. What I can do is uninstall extensions that pop up notifications I can't turn off. You have a specific area in the options for notifications, but no way to turn off this particular annoying and useless popup. Please do something about it. Thanks.

very handy for downloading multiple big files,you can pause and resume without data loss ! ; )

excellent extension

The rule system is a complicated one for non-CODING human. it is so complicated to the point it defeats the fact of having the extension to begin with. can you simplify it... and with every updates it wipes out all rule you created
