ChromeDraw — Draw on any webpage
1 rating
)Overview
Draw, highlight & type notes on any webpage. Pen, highlighter, on-device handwriting-to-text (OCR), erasers & one-click screenshots.
Annotate any webpage like it's a whiteboard — then keep what you made. ChromeDraw drops a drawing layer on top of the page you're looking at so you can sketch, highlight, and type notes right where they belong. Everything you draw is anchored to the page, so your marks stay put while you scroll. When you're done, save a screenshot or turn your handwriting into text you can paste anywhere. It runs entirely on your device. No account, no sign-in, nothing uploaded — ever. What you can do • ✏️ Pen — smooth, pressure-free freehand drawing with adjustable size and a full color palette plus a custom color picker. • 🖍️ Highlighter — translucent marker in the same colors, perfect for emphasis without hiding the text underneath. • 🔤 Handwriting → text (OCR) — convert your handwritten notes into plain text with a bundled, on-device recognition model (no network, nothing uploaded), then copy/paste straight into ChatGPT, an email, or a doc. Unsure characters offer a one-tap pick of the most likely letters. • ✨ Handwriting correction — smooth messy strokes in real time as you write, or press ✨ to convert your handwriting into clean typed text with the bundled on-device character model — with the same one-tap picker for any character it's unsure of. • 🧽 Two erasers — rub out exactly where you drag, or remove a whole stroke with one swipe. • 🔡 Text tool — click anywhere to type; drag to reposition, double-click to edit. • 🖱️ Move & select — grab, multi-select (marquee or Ctrl-click), duplicate and delete your annotations. • 📸 One-click screenshot — capture the page with your drawings on top, or export just the drawing layer as a transparent PNG. • ↩️ Undo / redo for every action, plus a one-tap clear. • ⌨️ Fully customizable keyboard shortcuts, including multi-key chords (e.g. Tab + R for red). • 🎯 Draggable, Shadow-DOM-isolated toolbar that never clashes with the page's own styles. Great for Design and content reviews, marking up bugs, teaching and tutoring, doing math on canvas, planning over a live site, capturing ideas, and turning quick handwritten notes into text for your favorite AI assistant. How to use it Click the ChromeDraw icon (or press Alt+Shift+D) on any page to toggle the overlay on or off. Pick a tool, draw, and save. Press Esc to hide it. Privacy ChromeDraw does not collect, transmit, or sell any data. Your drawings live in the tab's memory, your settings are stored locally, and handwriting recognition runs on your own device.
