Not sure what all of the negative reviews are about. Haven't ever had issues with Chromebook Recovery Utility. Thanks, Google, for a very useful tool!

To be honest, does not work how i like, tried installing BlendOS on my FydeOS after i realized 99% of apps i use will refuse to work on ChromeOS/Chromium-based operating systems, But it gave me "This USB is unsupported" Real useful-ness but i guess it depends on what ChromeOS device you really have, Like example: Lenovo chromebooks or etc, Im only giving it 3 stars since it would totally work on other devices, but just not mine

Works like an absolute charm. For those who it didn't work its because its a school chromebook and you will nee to do some adjustments but generally for a normal user this programm works perfect. Just DONT move the usb not even a little bit you will need to restart the process

I'm trying to figure out where the ChromeOS recovery tool downloads images files to because the image it downloaded is too big for my c drive, and I need to delete said file, but it isn't in my downloads folder obviously, so where would it have been put?

Excellent for what I wanted! I bought a cheap Chromebook awhile ago and I realized I still had it. So I used a spare sd to put Linux on it. It works perfect to dual boot besides the files being lost. My only issue is how can you read the sd/usb without resetting it

I only use the Chromebook Recovery Utility to install Chrome OS Flex into my old laptops. The extension had done the task properly a few years ago, and I could remove the OS image to reuse the flash drive for file storage. However, the problem is that it does not specify the required empty storage space that a computer requires to store and transfer the OS image into a flash drive.
