Overview

Chrome DevTools HTTP workbench with built-in AI.

Chrome Suite adds an HTTP request workbench directly into Chrome DevTools. It captures real browser traffic from the current tab, lets you edit raw HTTP requests, replay them instantly, and inspect the responses without leaving the page you are testing. It is designed for quick, focused testing inside the browser: tweak methods, paths, headers, and bodies, resend the request, and see how your application or API reacts in real time. Key features: • DevTools panel: A dedicated "Chrome Suite" tab inside DevTools, no extra windows or proxy setup. • Automatic capture: Logs HTTP and HTTPS requests from the current tab with method, URL, status, and basic timing. • Integrated repeater: Click any captured request, edit it in a raw HTTP style editor, and resend it directly from DevTools. • Three pane layout: Requests list on the left, editable request in the center, and response viewer (Raw / Headers / Body / Preview) on the right. • Filtering and search: Filter by method or text, hide noisy static assets, star important requests, and quickly search within requests and responses. • Smart formatting: Pretty prints JSON when possible, improves HTML readability, and wraps long lines so you do not have to scroll horizontally. Built in AI assistant (via OpenRouter): • Ask short technical questions about a specific request and response, such as "Why is this returning 403?" or "Any obvious security concerns here?". • Choose whether to include the request, the response, or both in the AI context, so you stay in control of what is sent. • AI answers are rendered in a clean, readable format inside the DevTools panel. Token and privacy conscious: • Strips noisy headers before sending context to the AI. • Redacts sensitive values where possible. • Minifies JSON bodies when it makes sense. • Truncates very large payloads to keep latency and token usage under control. Chrome Suite is useful for: • AppSec engineers and bug bounty hunters who want a fast, browser native repeater. • Web developers debugging requests without switching tools. • QA testers exercising and replaying complex flows directly from the browser.
