Unofficial Bluetooth controller for a ChefSteps Joule

**Chrome Joule** is an unofficial Chrome extension that connects directly to your Joule sous vide cooker over Bluetooth Low Energy — no cloud account, no phone app required. Not affiliated with ChefSteps or Breville. **Features:** - Direct Bluetooth connection to a nearby Joule - Manual cook controls for water temperature and an optional hr:min:sec timer - Live water temperature, cook-phase, and timer updates - Timers and the time-at-temperature clock start automatically once the bath reaches your target - Add 5 or 30 minutes to a running timer without restarting the cook - Pause and resume the displayed timer while Joule continues holding temperature - Browser notification when your timer finishes, even if the tab is closed - Fahrenheit and Celsius display - Automatic reconnect overlay that keeps your dashboard in place through brief Bluetooth drops **Requirements:** Google Chrome on a computer with Bluetooth enabled, and a Joule powered on and not connected to another app (such as the Breville+ app or nRF Connect — Joule supports only one Bluetooth connection at a time). **Limitations:** Only manual cook programs are supported; recipe walkthroughs and multi-device management are not included. Tested with Chrome on Windows only.
