Overview
Capture the web as durable, connected Markdown with local OCR, templates, offline sync, and approval-first agent access.
CAPTURE THE WEB. KEEP THE KNOWLEDGE. The web is where research starts. Phasoric Web Clipper brings what matters into the workspace for connected intelligence as durable, portable Markdown, so articles, evidence, highlights, and ideas stay connected to the work they inform. Capture a complete article, an exact passage, a bookmark, an image, visible-page text, or a supported PDF without copying and reformatting it by hand. Phasoric's upgraded extractor preserves useful structure and source context, then gives you a clean, editable preview before anything enters your vault. CAPTURE WHAT MATTERS • Turn readable articles into clean, editable Markdown • Clip exact text selections, bookmarks, linked pages, and images • Highlight text, content blocks, and images, add notes, and see saved highlights when you return • Capture from Chrome's context menu or use keyboard shortcuts without breaking your flow • Open a distraction-free reader preview • Capture supported PDFs with local text inspection and selective OCR for scanned pages • Run local OCR on visible-page content when normal extraction is not enough PRESERVE STRUCTURE AND SOURCE CONTEXT • Keep supported headings, emphasis, links, nested lists, tables, fenced code blocks, quotations, and images • Retain the source URL, canonical URL, title, excerpt, author, publication, date, and available Schema.org details • For eligible hosted vaults, privately import supported article images into Phasoric attachment storage; if an image cannot be imported, its original URL remains in the note SHAPE EVERY CAPTURE • Review and edit the title, Markdown, source URL, destination vault, folder, and tags before saving • Build reusable templates with variables, prompt fields, custom selectors, filters, conditions, loops, and note properties • Route clips automatically by URL, page type, capture type, and priority • Create a new note, append above or below an existing note, or add the capture to a daily note LOCAL-FIRST, NOT LOCAL-ONLY If Phasoric is closed, the extension keeps your capture in a local outbox instead of discarding it. The next time you open and connect your Phasoric workspace, waiting captures can synchronize into the Capture Inbox. The extension also maintains a synchronized local note mirror for approved browser agents. Token-authenticated MCP agents can search and read that mirror while the Phasoric app is closed. In supported Chrome builds, opening the extension side panel exposes the same tools through WebMCP. Proposed note changes are previewed first and always wait for your explicit approval before they synchronize. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE The extension reads only the active page after you invoke a capture, highlight, reader, or OCR action. Article extraction, PDF inspection, template rendering, and OCR run locally using code and models packaged with the extension. Phasoric Web Clipper requests no website host permission and executes no remotely hosted code. A Phasoric account is required to synchronize captures into the web workspace. The extension does not sell captured data or use it for advertising. Phasoric keeps Markdown as the source of truth. Your captures remain portable knowledge instead of disappearing into an account-bound proprietary archive.
