The most foundational jam skill is being able to pick up the chords on the fly to songs you haven't learned by: 1) using your ear to "hear" the chord changes and 2) using your your eyes to look at a guitar player's chording hand ChordCam for Strum Machine replaces the chord chart in Strum Machine with am image of a guitar player's chording hand for the current chord to help you develop these skills. 🛠️ How it works: 1) Pull up Strum Machine in your browser (you need to have an account with Strum Machine for this to work) 2) Choose a song 3) Find the "ChordCam" toggle in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the "help" button **NOTE: If you don't see the toggle, refresh the page (This is a common bug at the moment)** 4) Press play and play along with the song as usual, using both your eyes and ears to learn the chords as you go (Just like a 💡 Why Use ChordCam? 🎶Ideal for bluegrass players, beginners, and anyone looking to build quick chord recognition skills. 🎶ChordCam trains you to follow the changes in real time, just like you would by watching another player’s hands and listening closely. It’s not just for guitar — it’s for anyone working on picking up chord changes by ear and instinct. Note: ChordCam is not affiliated with or developed by Strum Machine. It's a free, community-built add-on designed to complement it.
