Choose Folder to Save Downloads

Overview

Pick a subfolder for each download before it saves.

A lightweight “Choose Folder to Save Downloads” extension rewrites that story, giving you control over where each file lands and delivering benefits that quickly justify its place in your toolbar. Finally, it cultivates a minimalist digital environment. An empty Downloads folder doubles as a signal that nothing is languishing unfiled. The psychological clarity of zero clutter rivals the satisfaction of inbox zero and encourages digital hygiene elsewhere. By letting you decide a download’s destiny the moment it arrives, the extension removes friction you never realized existed and reveals how files were meant to flow—intuitively, logically, and on your terms. In short, smarter saving means less clutter, faster retrieval, safer storage, smoother teamwork, and a calmer mind—benefits that accumulate with every click.
