Chonkbreak
Overview
A different chonky pet shows up when you've been at it too long. New crew joins all the time.
A different chonky pet shows up when you've been at any site too long. Pick the sites, set the limit, get a break. New crew members keep joining — so it never gets stale. 【How it works】 1. Pick the sites — X, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, or any site you live in (work tools count too). 2. Pick a limit — default 60 minutes per site. 3. When time's up, a chonky pet covers the page until the break is over. 【Meet the chonk crew (and more on the way)】 We add new pets all the time. They ship straight to your extension from our servers — no manual update needed. Today's roster: • Mochi — a fluffy Japanese Spitz who tips up on her paws and gives you the world's softest "hey, enough." • Butter — a golden retriever who hooks both paws over your screen edge, pushes his nose into the camera, and grins at you like you're the best thing he's seen all day. • Coconut — a samoyed, the walking white cloud. Big fluffy head right up to the lens, classic head tilt, that famous Samoyed smile. • Potato — a capybara, the chillest creature alive. Three bright oranges stacked on his head. He does not move. He does not care. Zen on legs. 【What's under the hood】 • Full-screen, transparent-background pet videos (intro + idle loop, no audio) • Focus-aware timer — switching tabs pauses and resets, so distracted time isn't counted as time on site • Per-site list — built-in groups (X / YouTube / Facebook / Reddit) plus a Your Own List for any site you want covered (yes, including your inbox, your docs, your Notion) • Configurable time-on-site (1–480 min) and pet-for break (1–60 min) • All settings stay in your browser. Zero data collection. No account. 【Want your own pet here?】 We turn your cat or dog into a custom transparent pet that drops in to give you a moment. Tell us at chonkbreak.com and we'll reach out when custom pets open. 【Why we built this】 Long stretches at any screen drain your day — doomscrolling, deep work, doesn't matter, the body needs a moment. We didn't want to write another timer app that yells at you. We wanted a small companion that takes over the screen, asks for a moment, and reminds you the world outside the tab is real and chonky.
