Overview
Shows Chinese on Miro boards in Chinese character forms, not Japanese ones. Not affiliated with Miro.
Miro draws Chinese text with a Japanese font. Most characters look the same either way, but many differ: 直, 写, 次, 没, 骨, 角, and full-width punctuation such as ; ! ?. Readers and learners of Chinese see Japanese forms instead of the ones they know. This extension adds the Chinese fonts Noto Sans SC and Noto Serif SC to Miro's pages, for Chinese characters and punctuation only. Text on the board, the search box and the rest of Miro then show simplified Chinese forms. Latin letters, Japanese kana and everything else stay as they were. • No settings: install it, then reload any Miro board that is open. • No permissions, and no data collected or sent. It runs only on miro.com board pages. • The fonts come with it (SIL Open Font License): nothing is fetched from anywhere. • Simplified Chinese forms. If you read Japanese on Miro, leave it off: Japanese kanji would take Chinese forms too. Desktop Edge and Chrome only: it can't change the Miro app or mobile browsers. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Miro. Miro is a trademark of its owner. Help, privacy and contact: https://hangil.app/chinese-font-fix.html
