TABROOM
Overview
Save organized tab workspaces, compare snapshots and restore exactly the parts you need.
A little order. A lot more room. TABROOM organizes the tabs you use for a project into named workspaces. Save the arrangement of ordinary browser windows, pinned tabs and tab groups, then return to just the part you need. LIVE TABS Find a tab by title or URL. Select tabs to group them or move them to another window. Drag a tab within its current window and pinned/unpinned section. Switch to a tab without searching the browser's crowded tab strip. WORKSPACE SNAPSHOTS Save supported HTTP(S) tabs from your normal windows, or a selected subset. Keep up to 12 snapshots per workspace, including window arrangement, tab order, pin state, group name, color and collapsed state. Add a name and project note. Compare consecutive snapshots to see added and removed URL occurrences and structural changes. RESTORE WITH INTENTION Review what will open before restoring. Select a workspace, a group or individual entries. Skip already-open exact URLs, focus an existing match, or open a new copy. Restored tabs are created in new windows: TABROOM does not close your current user tabs. A restore report records successes and failures. An interrupted attempt must be reviewed before another one is started. LOCAL LIBRARY Store up to 40 workspaces, with 300 tabs per snapshot and a 3 MB application-level serialized library limit. Export a .tabroom backup and import independent copies. Revision checking prevents an older view from silently overwriting a newer library. TABROOM saves URLs and organization, not full website sessions. It does not back up form entries, cookies, authentication, page history, document edits or web-application state. Internal browser pages, credential-bearing URLs, pending URLs and incognito windows are outside its supported snapshot scope. URL matching is exact; distinct queries or fragments remain distinct. No account, cloud sync, advertising, telemetry or content scripts. Saved titles and full URLs can contain sensitive information; inspect a backup before sharing it. Opening saved websites makes ordinary browser navigation requests to those websites. The extension itself does not send your library to a server.
