When enabled, the extension intercepts chess.com’s sound playback using the Web Audio API and plays custom sound effects instead. The extension only runs on https://www.chess.com/ and does not modify any gameplay functionality. Users should install this extension if they want a fun and personalized audio experience while playing on chess.com. No data is collected, stored, or transmitted. The extension only stores a local on/off toggle setting using Chrome’s storage API. Note: This is an unofficial extension and is not affiliated with chess.com.
