Chess Coach: Review After Game
3 ratings
)Overview
Detect the end of a Chess.com game and offer a one-click deep link into your Chess Coach analysis tool.
When a chess.com game ends, this extension puts a small "Review in Chess Coach?" card in the corner of the page. Click Review and the game opens in Chess Coach, already imported, with the analysis under way. How it works • Finish a game on chess.com, live or daily. • The card shows up once. Close it if you don't want a review. • Click Review. Chess Coach opens on that game in a new tab. It works on older games too. Open a game you finished earlier and the card appears. Setup 1. Install the extension. Its settings page opens. 2. Type your chess.com username. 3. The Chess Coach address is already filled in. Click "Test connection" if you want to check it. 4. Click Save. If the card doesn't show up chess.com changes its end-of-game screen now and then, and the extension can miss the new one until it's updated. Click the extension's icon in the toolbar while you're on the finished game and the card appears anyway. Privacy The extension keeps three things in your browser's synced storage: your chess.com username, the address of your Chess Coach app, and whether the card is turned on. There is no tracking and no analytics. The only network request it makes is "Test connection", and only when you click it. Opening a review is just a new tab. Source code The code is open source. The homepage link on this listing goes to it.
