Chernobyl is an eerie ghost town north of Kiev Oblast. Inside Chernobyl, you'll be able to see the devastation firsthand - destroyed buildings and abandoned properties of people who had to flee for their lives. Guided tours offer the opportunity to learn firsthand about the tragedy. While filming is currently banned in some areas, Ukraine's President has promised to lift the ban as part of a significant revamp of the area to make it safer for tourists.
