Once installed, pin the CheckAI icon to your browser toolbar for easy access. ⚙️ Account Configuration CheckAI offers two usage modes depending on your needs: • Guest Mode (Default): No registration required. Includes a limited allocation of free detection credits per device. Ideal for casual users. • API Key Mode (Pro): For users with a CheckAI subscription. Click the extension icon and navigate to Settings to enter your valid API Key. 🔍 How to Detect AI Content CheckAI provides multiple methods to analyze content depending on the media type. Detecting Text • Method A (Floating Button): Highlight any text snippet on a webpage. A generic CheckAI floating button will appear. Click it to run detection. • Method B (Context Menu): Highlight the text, right-click, and select "AI Text Detection". Detecting Images & Videos Right-click directly on the image or video element and select "AI Image Detection" or "AI Video Detection". Using Screenshot Detection (Any Content) Use this for content that cannot be selected (e.g., protected videos or complex layouts). • Click the CheckAI icon in the browser toolbar. • Select the "Screenshot Detection" tool. • Draw a box around the area you want to analyze. 🛡️ Privacy & Security CheckAI is built with Manifest V3, ensuring compliance with modern browser security standards. • Data Handling: Content is sent to checkai.space solely for analysis via a secure API.
