ChatVault Capture Helper is the browser companion for ChatVaultAI, a local-first Windows desktop vault for AI work receipts. Capture visible conversation content from supported AI platforms and export local ChatVaultAI-compatible artifacts, including .chatvault.json, Markdown, and Page Archive files. Current support: • ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini — structured capture where supported • Perplexity — basic Capture Once; Session Capture is disabled • Copilot and other archive-only pages — local Page Archive Capture and export actions are initiated by the user. The extension does not intercept network traffic, call hidden platform APIs, upload your vault, use telemetry, or use analytics. For Page Archives, scripts are removed, privacy and account chrome are scrubbed, and active external asset references are neutralized for safer offline reopening. Visual fidelity is not guaranteed.
