Under 50 ms across ten thousand conversations. • Tags as deep as you need Hierarchical labels like work/raven/db or writing/newsletter. Custom colors, unlimited nesting — yes, in the free version. • Link across platforms Started a thread in ChatGPT, picked it up in DeepSeek? Connect them. The link is bidirectional and stays. • A prompt library worth keeping Save prompts with {{variable}} slots. There is no sign-up, no telemetry, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no license check, no update beacon. • Zero third-party servers • Zero accounts • 100% stored on your device, in your browser's IndexedDB The only network calls ChatVault makes are same-origin requests back to the AI platforms you are already signed into — exactly the way their own UI talks to them — to fetch the conversation data your browser was already going to receive. The full list of hosts it can touch is in the manifest's host_permissions block, and that is the whole list. You can wipe everything from the extension settings at any time.
