Export Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity conversations to PDF, Word or Markdown.

ChatScribe saves an AI chat conversation as a clean document on your computer: PDF, Word (.docx) or Markdown. It works on Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, and does nothing on any other website. HOW TO USE IT • Open a chat and click PDF, W (Word) or MD on the small toolbar that appears on the page. You can drag the toolbar anywhere, or switch it off in the popup. • Or click the ChatScribe button in your browser's toolbar, pick a format, and click Export conversation. • The document is saved with the browser's normal download feature, named after the chat's title. WHAT YOU GET • The whole conversation, in order, with each message labeled "You" or with the assistant's name. Long chats are scrolled into view so nothing is missed, then the page returns to where you were. • Headings, bold and italic text, lists, tables, links and code blocks. Markdown also keeps each code block's language. • The title and the date it was saved. PDF and Markdown documents also include a link back to the original conversation. • A note where files were uploaded. Images aren't copied in: PDF and Word show a short placeholder, and Markdown keeps a link to the image's web address. WHAT IS LEFT OUT • Buttons, menus and the rest of the website. • Status lines such as thinking and tool activity, and numbered citation markers on some sites. PRIVACY Everything happens in your browser. The page is read only when you ask for a document, the document is built on your device, and nothing is sent anywhere. There are no ads, no analytics and no accounts. Full policy: https://griffith.software/chatscribe GOOD TO KNOW • In PDFs, Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters and emoji appear as empty boxes. The other formats keep them. • Math appears as TeX source, for example $x^2$. • The AI sites change their pages from time to time, which can stop a save from working until an update is released.
