Adds a hoverable minimap to long ChatGPT conversations so you can jump between messages, code blocks, links, and important answers.

A small minimap that runs down the right side of ChatGPT conversations. Each message is a tick on the rail. Hover one to preview what's in it, click to jump straight there. ** ChatGPT recently added its own conversation map, but ChatMap remains focused on users that benefit from message bookmarks, keyboard shortcuts, and additional navigation tools. To avoid duplicate sidebars, ChatMap hides ChatGPT's native map by default. If you have long chats, research threads, or any conversation you keep coming back to, scrolling through hundreds of messages to find one spot gets tedious fast. chatmap gives you a visual overview of the whole conversation and a way to bookmark the parts you'll want again. Shortcuts (can edit edit any time in extension settings/dropdown) - Alt+Shift+Click a marker to bookmark a message (with optional name, note, and color) - Press B to drop a quick bookmark on whatever you're reading - Alt+Shift+W / Alt+Shift+S to step between bookmarks - Alt+Shift+scroll to step through every message one at a time - Alt+Shift+H to show only bookmarked messages - Alt+Shift+E to export bookmarks or the entire conversation - Customize shortcuts, bookmark colors, and display settings from the extension popup Privacy Everything stays on your device. No accounts, no servers, no analytics. The extension reads your current conversation through ChatGPT's own API using your existing session, nothing is sent anywhere else. Bookmarks and settings live in Chrome's local storage. It only runs on chatgpt.com and chat.openai.com.
