ChatJump adds one shortcut — Alt+K — that opens a search palette on either site. Type a few letters of what you remember, hit Enter, and you're there. It works across both ChatGPT and Claude from a single index, so you stop remembering which tool you asked. What it does - Press Alt+K on chatgpt.com or claude.ai to open the palette - Fuzzy search across your conversation titles from both sites in one list - Arrow keys to move, Enter to open, Esc to close — keyboard only, if you want - Indexes automatically from the conversations already shown in your sidebar - Rebind the shortcut any time from chrome://extensions/shortcuts What it doesn't do - It never sends anything anywhere. There is no server, no account, no analytics, no network requests. Your conversation titles are stored in Chrome's local storage on your machine and nowhere else. - It doesn't read message contents — only the titles you already see in your sidebar. - It doesn't touch your ChatGPT or Claude account or settings. Why titles only Both sites load message contents lazily. Indexing message bodies would mean fetching pages you haven't opened, which is slower and a different privacy story. v1 keeps it to what's already on screen.
