This extension is limited to chatgpt.com only. CHAT.IMG is a Chrome side panel extension that automates image generation on ChatGPT. Enter multiple prompts at once and ChatGPT will create the images one after another, with each finished image saved to your computer automatically. The repetitive workflow of typing one prompt and downloading one image at a time becomes a single click. ■ Features ✓ Text to image (t2i) Just enter a prompt — the extension activates ChatGPT's image tool and generates the image in a fresh chat. ✓ Image to image (i2i) Upload a reference image and write a transformation instruction. ChatGPT generates a new image based on it. Useful for converting photos to illustrations, style transfers, background changes, colorization, and similar edits. ✓ Batch processing and queue management Separate prompts with blank lines to enter several at once. They enter a queue and run sequentially. Pending, in-progress, completed, and failed states are shown in real time, and failed items can be re-run individually. ✓ Automatic download Finished images are saved to your chosen folder (default ~/Downloads/ChatImg) with a consistent filename pattern. No manual click required. ✓ Four template dropdowns Skip retyping long prompts — pick a prepared template and it's combined into your prompt automatically. - Presets: cinematic portrait, isometric illustration, product photo, fantasy landscape, kawaii character, and more (7 total) - Styles: watercolor, oil painting, pixel art, Ghibli-inspired, cyberpunk, 3D render, and more (10 total) - Aspect ratios: 1:1, 2:3, 3:2, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3 (6 total) - Transformations: same person different background, photo to illustration, background removal, colorization, outfit change, outpainting, and more (8 total) ✓ Progress tracking The side panel queue shows each prompt's status (pending/running/ done/failed) and current step (generating/downloading) in real time. ✓ Automatic comparison-screen handling When ChatGPT shows the "Which image do you prefer?" comparison screen, the extension automatically clicks "Skip" so both images are saved. ✓ Korean and English UI ■ How to use 1. Sign in at chatgpt.com. 2. Click the CHAT.IMG icon in the browser toolbar to open the side panel. 3. Choose a mode (t2i or i2i). 4. (Optional) Pick a template from the dropdowns. 5. Enter your prompts. Separate with blank lines for batch mode. 6. (For i2i) Upload your reference image. 7. The manifest declares only two host_permissions — *://chatgpt.com/* and the legacy *://chat.openai.com/* — and the extension does not access any other website. ■ Privacy and safety · The extension does not access any website other than chatgpt.com. · It does not collect or transmit ChatGPT account information (email, password, etc.) in any form. · All automation runs locally inside the user's browser. No data is sent to any external server. · Copyright of generated images is governed by the ChatGPT (OpenAI) terms of service. · The downloads permission is used solely to save generated image files. ■ Requirements · Chrome browser with Manifest V3 support (Chrome 114 or later) · A ChatGPT account on a plan that supports image generation ■ Notes · ChatGPT image generation quotas follow your OpenAI account plan. Free plans may have a daily limit. · If ChatGPT changes its website UI, the automation may temporarily stop working.
