Overview
Validate and debug OpenAI Ads pixel. Detects pixel ID, tracks events, verifies conversion tracking, and identifies CAPI calls.
ChatGPT Pixel Helper by Ridoway is a free Chrome extension for debugging and validating OpenAI Ads (ChatGPT) conversion tracking pixels. Features • Pixel Detection — Automatically detects the OpenAI Ads pixel (oaiq.js) on any webpage. Identifies Pixel ID, confirms the script is loaded, and shows initialization status. • Event Capture — Monitors oaiq("measure") calls in real-time. Captures event names, parameters, conversion values, currencies, and timestamps for every pixel event. • Network Beacon Inspection — Intercepts HTTP requests to bzr.openai.com using the Chrome webRequest API. Inspects POST bodies and GET parameters to extract event payloads. • CAPI Detection — Flags unsafe browser-side Conversions API calls (/v1/events) that should be sent server-to-server only. Helps prevent implementation errors. • Cookie Verification — Detects the __oppref cookie used by OpenAI for event deduplication and user matching. Displays cookie presence and status. • Debug Mode Support — Identifies debug mode via URL parameters (?oaiq_debug=1), cookies, and data attributes for troubleshooting pixel issues. • Privacy First — Runs entirely in your browser. No data is collected, logged, or sent to external servers. Source code is available for review. Perfect for developers, marketers, and agencies managing OpenAI Ads campaigns. Works on WordPress (Ridoway Pixel plugin), Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom websites. Everything is processed locally in your browser, keeping your data private and your setup simple.
