Local ChatGPT usage estimates with toolbar popup, history sync, quota badges and portable index backups.

ChatGPT Message Meter turns your saved ChatGPT history into a private, local usage dashboard. Track Normal Chats, GPT-5.6 Pro and GPT-6 Pro usage across rolling 24-hour, 7-day and 30-day views. For supported plans, Message Meter estimates how much of your Advanced Chat allowance you have used and shows the current percentage directly in the browser toolbar. Your index stays in your browser. Chat text and authentication tokens are not stored, and no usage data is sent to an external analytics service. Features include plan-aware usage estimates, cross-device history reconciliation, Project and archived-chat coverage, usage trends, light/dark mode, English/Chinese UI, diagnostics, and portable local-index backup and restore. Usage figures are reconstructed from available saved ChatGPT history and are estimates, not OpenAI’s official quota ledger.
