ChatGPT Markdown Export helps you preserve and reuse your conversations. • Export the current conversation, your most recent conversations, or selected conversations using search and filters. • Export as Markdown, HTML, both formats, or a JEX notebook for Joplin. Full-history JEX exports create one note per conversation. • Include available images, attachments, generated files, sources, and metadata. • Track export progress and download a diagnostic log if a conversation fails. • Deletion is optional and always requires separate confirmation. You can export a backup first. Deletion is irreversible and may take up to 10 minutes to disappear from ChatGPT history. The extension requires an active ChatGPT session. Exports and settings are processed locally in your browser; the developer does not receive your conversations or exported files. Downloading media hosted outside ChatGPT requires optional permission. Some content may be unavailable if ChatGPT’s internal APIs change. Currently supports ChatGPT. Not affiliated with OpenAI.
