WHAT IT DOES • Exports your chats and your ChatGPT Projects, including on Teams/Business accounts • Saves every conversation twice: clean Markdown for reading, full JSON for safe-keeping • Optionally downloads the files and images attached to your chats • Shows clear progress the whole way — with a time estimate — and is deliberately gentle with ChatGPT's servers • Picks up where it left off: run it again any time to top up the backup with your newest chats, and it resumes automatically if anything interrupts it PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens between your browser and chatgpt.com. Your conversations are written straight to a folder you choose on your own computer. Nothing is sent to us — or to anyone else. No accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking, no analytics. HOW TO USE IT 1. Sign in at chatgpt.com as usual 2. Click the extension icon 3. Pick a folder and choose what to export 4. Leave the tab open and let it run — large histories take a while GOOD TO KNOW • Works with personal and Teams/Business ChatGPT accounts • Projects this account can't read (usually ones someone else owns) are listed separately so you know they exist — ask the owner to export those • If ChatGPT signs you out mid-export, just sign back in and press Export again: it carries on exactly where it stopped This extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI.
