Extension settings and local statistics are stored using Chrome's local extension storage. HOW IT WORKS The extension examines the ChatGPT webpage locally and looks for UI elements that appear to be sponsored advertising units. When a matching element is detected, it is hidden from the page. The extension does not need to read or modify the contents of your normal ChatGPT conversation to provide its core functionality.
