As ads are gradually introduced into ChatGPT, traditional ad blockers struggle because the platform’s UI changes frequently. This extension is built specifically for ChatGPT and is designed to adapt quickly when ad formats change. How it works: The extension uses a hybrid approach. It automatically fetches updated blocking rules from a public GitHub repository, so fixes roll out instantly without waiting for extension store reviews. Users can optionally report new ad layouts directly from the extension to help keep the blocker effective. Privacy and data handling: The extension does not collect any personal data by default. When an ad report is submitted, chat content is redacted locally before being shared. While this redaction may not always be perfectly accurate today, it will continue to improve as ad formats in ChatGPT become clearer over time. Submitting an ad report is completely optional. If you choose not to report anything, the extension still works normally.
