Chat Reply Check

Before you hit send, on-device AI checks that your reply answers what was asked in the thread or DM. Your text never leaves your PC.

"Does Tuesday or Thursday work for you?" — and you reply "I'll have the slides ready by Friday!" Chat Reply Check catches that before it goes out. When you press Send (or Enter), the AI built into Chrome reads the last few messages and your draft, and checks whether your reply answers what the other person asked. If it does, your message is sent as usual. If something looks off, a small panel shows what they were asking, what might be missing, and a suggested fix. Works with Slack in the browser (app.slack.com): channels, threads and DMs. What happens when you press Send ・Your draft and the last 8 messages in that conversation are read by Chrome's built-in AI, on your PC ・Looks fine → it sends right away, with a short "Looks good" note ・Looks off → it holds the message and shows the panel. You can copy the suggested fix, send it as is, or go back and edit (Esc) ・If the AI is not ready or does not answer in time, your message is sent anyway.
