Chat Privacy Guard helps protect your privacy while using WhatsApp Web in shared spaces, screen recordings, meetings, or public places. The extension lets you blur sensitive parts of the page, including contact names, message previews, chat titles, messages, profile photos, media, timestamps, and status text. You can choose light, medium, or maximum privacy presets, adjust blur strength, and reveal hidden content on hover when needed. All settings are stored locally in your browser. The extension does not collect, store, or send your messages or personal data.
