Never miss a chat message!
Shows desktop notifications when you receive a chat in gmail. Never miss a chat message again! =========== UPDATE =========== Version 1.0.7 - Working again. Version 1.0.6 - Fixed a bug where the first message wouldn't display correctly. Version 1.0.5 - Changed name in compliance with Google branding guidelines. Version 1.0.4 - Added toolbar icon. When left-clicked, disables notifications. ============================== NOTE: You *must* have a gmail tab open in order to receive chat notifications. KNOWN ISSUES: Some of the google labs features might break this extension. The "SMS in Chat" feature is known to cause problems. I will try to fix this in the future. FUTURE: I plan on adding notification timeout options, and ambiguous notifications in the event you don't want the full chat message displayed. If you have any other requests for options, please let me know!

Works great. I read that you have to have opened gmail in your tab.. I always have my gmail open in pinned tab so this was no issue for me.

Get it to work when gmail tab is closed: i.e. 1. Tab closed - user did not sign out. 2. Tab closed - user signed out first. (Probably not possible). 3. Use the "Signed into Chrome" status??? NOT NEEDED IF GMAIL TAB IS OPEN, YOU GET GMAIL'S NOTIFICATION.

If you do not have a gmail open tab, you get NO notifications. If you do, then you do not need this!!!
