Overview
Add local notes, prompt drafts, voice input, and a follow-up dashboard to stay organized across ChatGPT conversations.
Chat Margin adds a lightweight workspace next to ChatGPT so you can keep track of what matters while working across long conversations. Use it to: • Keep local notes attached to each ChatGPT conversation • Prepare prompt drafts before sending them • Use voice input to draft prompts faster • Mark conversations as Follow-up when something remains unfinished • View follow-up conversations in a simple dashboard • Copy prepared prompts when you are ready to send them Chat Margin is designed for people who use ChatGPT seriously and often lose track of ideas, pending tasks, branches to explore, or prompts they want to prepare before sending. Local-first beta Chat Margin stores your notes and prompt drafts locally in your browser. It does not require an account and does not send your notes to a Chat Margin server. Current beta features include: • Notes tab • Prompt drafts tab • Follow-up status • Follow-up dashboard • Local browser storage • Help section • Feedback email Chat Margin is currently free while it is improved with early users. Privacy Your Chat Margin notes and prompt drafts are stored locally in your browser. The extension is designed to work on ChatGPT pages and display a side workspace next to the conversation.
