Overview

Rotate images in the Google Chat web interface via native UI buttons.

Chat Image Rotator adds a discreet floating toolbar to Google Chat's image viewer, letting you rotate any image 90° left or right — or reset it to its original orientation instantly. No setup, no configuration. Features: • Automatic - the toolbar appears when you open an image and disappears when you close it • Rotate left or right in 90° increments • One-click reset to original orientation • Works in Google Chat and in Google Chat embedded inside Gmail • No data collected - all processing happens locally in your browser Built by a solo developer in Norway. Free to use forever. Version 1.3 Update: Bug fix: Stopped rotation buttons from appearing on and rotating Gmail's background themes. Tweaks: Minor recoloring of buttons in the extension popup. Gentle review reminder.
