Voxer™ for Web lets you download messages one at a time, which is slow when you need a record of a whole conversation. This extension saves the conversation you have open as one editable Word (.docx) file, with the sender, date and time of every message, so you can keep it, search it, print it or share it. It suits client notes, project records, team handovers and backups of important chats. WHAT YOU GET - Who said what and when: every entry shows the sender, the date and the time - The whole chat history: older messages are loaded for you, so there is no scrolling to the top first - A clean layout you can edit: messages are grouped under date headings - Group chats covered: each message is labelled with who sent it - Attachments and chat notices marked clearly: photos and files are marked as not included, and notices such as someone leaving the chat appear in place HOW IT WORKS 1. Open web.voxer.com in Chrome and choose a conversation. 2. Click the extension icon. 3. Press "Download this chat as a Word file". The file saves to your Downloads folder. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Can I export a Voxer™ conversation to Word? Yes, the whole conversation you have open is saved as a .docx file that opens in Microsoft Word and other apps that read Word files. What happens to voice messages? They appear in the file as a placeholder line. The extension does not create transcriptions, and where a transcript is already showing on the page, that text is included. Does it work in the phone app? No, it works in Chrome on a computer, with the web version of the app. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS Your conversation is read in your browser and turned into the file on your own computer, it is not sent to any server, and the extension only reads the page when you press the button. The extension asks for access to the open tab (activeTab and scripting) so it can read the chat you choose, and for storage so it can remember your free export count and payment status. A page on extensionpay.com is used only to confirm a payment. PRICING Your first 3 exports are free. After that, unlimited exports need a yearly subscription of US$97 per year, which renews each year until you cancel.
